Not since the early televised stunts of Evel Kneivel has the motorbike soaring through the air, captivated spectators in such large numbers. Supercross, Arena Cross and almost all motorcross events have taken Leaps and bounds to the forefront of the motor sport industry. But at the heart of this phenomenon lay the footing of the sport. The Outdoor Dirt track in our very own backyards.

July 2008, The Sport of Motocross takes one more step and enters into OUR Back Yard - The Alberni Valley. Children of all ages will be able to come and see what hard work and dedication can lead to, as the Best of the Best come from across the Province to compete in the Provincial Championships. July 2008 Alberni Valley gets its taste of the new motorsport of choice. 1st there was Thunder in the Valley, but where there’s thunder, lightning is sure to follow. Come feel the electric charge that is Motocross. Come see what all the Noise is about. July 4-6th, Alberni Valley Motocross Association Presents 2008 Provincial Motocross Championships
